One of the prettiest market locations you will ever see, where colourful stalls line the banks of the east branch of Ovens River as its meanders down from the surrounding ranges, where the merry chatter or marketgoers is gently carried away in the mountain breeze, and where you can lie in the grass with a coffee in the shade of majestic old trees. The delightful Harrietville Bush Market is run by the Harrietville Historical Society and is most often held during the second weekend of January each year.
